The Future is Here

Jack Hite wrote an article for Smithsonian Magazine called The Future of Cars Is Already Here and discussed it on C-Span here.
Hite has his own self modified VW running on solar charged electric power. He points out most of the tech for flying electric autonomous cars is already here, it's just a matter of pulling it all together & sorting out the social aspect.

The Future Looks Annoying

Besides being really creepy, a future with augmented reality looks really obnoxious & annoying.
And this guy can't chop to save his soul. He'd starve to death if he had to cook his own food.

Is it Time for a Transhumanist President ?

Zoltan Istvan has declared his candidacy for president of the United States via The Transhumanist Party.
Dunno if the dude is being manipulated by aliens or if he is a homo superior already. Obviously his philosophy will begin the end of the human race as we know it, but is this just the next step in human evolution? Will we need to be transhuman cyborg obscenities just to defeat the imminent Zombie Apocalypse in the future?
It's good to get the dialogue going and the presidential debates should get real lively with his participation.
