Ohio Republican Legislature Moves Forward Consolidating Power - Eviscerateing Citizens Role in GovernmentSince neutralizing the citizens role in elections through aggressive Gerrymandering, Republicans have taken to illegally restricting the referendum process.
This is obviously in response to Issue 2 in 2011 when Ohio citizens handed the legislature it's ass after they tried ramming legislation down the citizen's throats. The Republicans don't have to fear losing seats, their only agenda now is to restrict voting & silence the people's own legislative power that has been in existence for over a hundred years.
As the centralized big government statist Republicans seek to weaken the cities, one wonders if they will try to weaken referendum power on the local level - a major tool (as well as lawsuits) for Republican agitators in Cincinnati.
