Robin Trower 1974

This concert was at the late Palace Theatre in downtown Dayton. It had a low stage, the walls were blue and decorated with white cameos of ancient greek looking stuff. Trower had left Procol Harum and had started a power trio. It wasn't much of a trio, tho. Trower probably could have just used prerecorded bass and drum loops and just wailed on his Strat all night.

Hi I am listing all the concerts I went to as a kid. I saw that Robin Trower show at the Palace but they took my entire ticket and I never wrote down when the show was. Can you post what the show date was? And who opener was [it was supposed to be James Cotton Band but it was someone else. Thanks if you can add the date. This was my 3rd or 4th concert of what is likely around a 1000 now. -Ben, Lebanon Oh

I posted a series one year of all the concerts I went to on the anniversary of the concert. So June 19, 1974.
Unfortunately, the host I used for the scans of the ticket stub decided to not be a host anymore so all the images are offline.....
Anyway, the stub doesn't say who the opening act was & none of my mates nor I remember.

We weren't stoned or anything...
