In 1787 the Congress of the Confederation of the United States passed the Northwest Ordinance that established the organization of the states north of the Ohio River & east of the Missouri making the midwest the White Castles of American states.
When people talk about the sameness of the midwest, it's a major contributor.
It called for the surveying of the territories & the establishment of counties & townships.

Tell Your Dog to STFU

People shoot off fireworks on the 4th of July as the founders intended and maybe a couple other days each year.
Nowadays, our fragile eggshell minds can't take it &, especially our mutts can't take the break in the serenity of their lives. Back in the founders day, dogs were real men.
My beef is that I am constantly badgered by my neighbors dog whenever I set foot out of my house. Incessant barking 24 hours a day is OK but fireworks a couple nights a year is some sort of sin?
Fuck off prissy dog owners - teach your mutt to man up.
