Springfield, Ohio is set to commemorate hometown vibraphonist Johnny Lytle with a statue in the town's walk of fame. Frankly, I think buying a dozen vibraphones for the schools would be money better spent but Springfield likes it's statues, so...

There's pretty much no place more associated with finality than a cemetery, so an opera performance in Bucharest’s Bellu Cemetery makes perfect sense.
This would be really cool in Cincinnati's Spring Grove Cemetery.
In the past, their Lantern Lighting event focussed on international music. This year they will have The Pete Wagner Orchestra which plays old pop tunes. The Drive In event plays recorded pop/rock music.
I think opera, real opera, not the operetta that will be performed in Bucharest, would fill the hills & trees very nicely.
A Lumenosity thing would be kinda cool in the cemetery, too but the added logistics might be a bit much. And, again, that's pop music. I think the old cemetery with it's sacred roots deserves older music.
And it would be even better if I-75 could be shut down for the event.

In the Penal Colony - the Movie

On the liner notes for the Mothers of Invention album, We're Only in it for The Money, Frank sez to read Franz Kafka's story, In the Penal Colony, first. Kinda nuts for a teenager into comic books, but Franz became one of my faves instantly. I actually took a page from The Hunger Artist at my last job but it didn't seem to shame the sales staff...
Anyway, I think this is a pretty good no budget short.
I really think the device would be good for taggers.

Cincinnati, known for it's cultural heritage, had a great venue in Newport, KY in the 1980s, The Jockey Club.
It was owned by a couple brothers and when approached by a young man who wanted to book punk acts, they said yes. That young man was Bill Leist.
While Leist was young & idealistic, the men who owned the venue had been around. They had hosted country, metal, rock, so punk? They said the country audience was generally the worst & the punk audience about the best.
Well, till the last show when the audience tore the place apart for souvenirs. The brothers had sold the building to the cab company next door who wanted to expand their parking facilities.
Leist was able to bring in touring acts and then he got bands from the local scene to do opening acts. The Damned, Black Flag, The Ramones, Tupelo Chain Sex, Jah Wobble, Johnny Thunders, The Cramps, DOA, White Zombie, Husker Du, The Dead Kennedys shared the stage with the likes of SS-20, The Auburnaires, The Afghan Whigs, The Mortals, Sluggo, Doc & the Pods, The Thangs, The Edge, Dementia Precox, The Ass Ponys & Leist's own, The Reduced.
Bill Leist died 12/29/14. He was preceded in death by The Jockey Club, Shorty & his brother.
It seemed like forever but was less than 10 years. Probably the most comparable scene was Jim Tarbell's Ludlow Garage about 10 years earlier.
