Since the experience is more important than the food and since, as we all know, Horror Sells, I'm thinking about a resaurant with a host dressed like Dracula, waitresses dressed like Dracula's brides, bussers dressed as zombies, bartenders dressed like mad scientists and a kitchen staff dressed in Texas Chainsaw Massacre gear. Probably do up the bar & kitchen equipment in weird retro spaceship robot crap and if anybody has a birthday, you could send somebody out running through the dining room with a leatherface mask & running chainsaw.
Maybe get H.R. Geiger to design the tables & chairs, some animatronic steampunk band for music…..
Insurance might be an issue but, so what? It would be a guaranteed success!
Menu? Who cares?

TMI ?
The Fishwrap reports that the Porkopolis Health Department has posted health inspection results online. You can find the reports here. Seems like the local places get hit harder than the chain stores. I am guessing this is because the chains know how to play the game better. If you actually look at the violations, what you find is that you should have died a long time ago from eating the cooking in your own filthy death trap of a kitchen.

Robert's on Miami
I have had 2 occasion's to eat at Robert's on Miami in downtown Urbana, Ohio. Neither occasion was terribly celebratory (funerals) but the quirky atmosphere, great service and excellent food helped make for delightful events.
Seriously, my dining there has led me to recommend a friggin' restaurant in Urbana, Ohio !
Located at 116 Miami Street, just west of the square, it is easy to find & has a handy parking lot right next door.
they offer a decent wine list and a menu loaded with pasta, seafood & desserts.
Don't let the hideous website and photography fool you !
