Should state or the national park system take over dead malls?
They are historical places. They are large & could provide space for camping. Lotsa room for gift centers. They could let the Sears stores fall into disrepair and use them for more difficult hiking & climbing. The fountains could be expanded for swimming or fishing. Bike lanes could be installed.
While the malls might no longer be profitable but as a subsidized entertainment center, perhaps they coulld have a new life.
