This harmless little robot is promised to bring your fluffy little monster hours of enjoyment. It even has a mode where you can control it so you "will connect with your cat like never before". Yes, that is, while it is trying to kill you !!
This surreptitious robot, Mousr, is made by Petronics who have a Kickstarter page so you can invest in the subordination of the human race.
Remember:
You know Tyrannosaurus Rex was destroyed before
By a furry little ball that crawled along
The primeval jungle floor
He stole the eggs of the dinosaur
It's all fun & games till the apocalypse...

The boys over at Robot Overlordz talk to John Danaher about ethics and the use of sex robots and how prostitution might actually grow as people are forced out of the traditional workforce & need to find other ways to make money.
Yes, leave granny alone with a robot modeled after a human eating carnivore.
I am sure the folks with dementia will absolutely love having one of these things standing in the corner of their room at night.
With the advent of the self driving car, people's driving habits as well as car ownership habits are going to change. This article at NBR discusses how some auto manufacturers will likely not survive the transition. They suggest people will likely cut back on or eliminate car ownership and use 'shared' vehicles - essentially using cabs without drivers. So cabbies are going to take a hit, too.
But with larger fleets of cab like vehicles there will probably be more jobs cleaning the things. People won't be driving so they will likely engage in other activities, like eating, drinking, taking drugs & having sex. There's going to be a lot more cleaning than nowadays with crumbs, popcorn, stains & such.
But will this really mean more low level jobs or will robots take over this sector as well? If the vehicles are designed to be easily cleaned, OK. But it might just be one of those jobs that will require humans. Low level transhumans maybe, transubhumans?
Cunning little minx of a robot divides man against man in the robots' mad conquest of humanity in the movie, Ex Machina.
Interestingly, I found this trailer after Glenn Beck sent me to this clip from the movie Interstellar.
So, do we want the dang machines or not?
Somebody needs to make a Magnus - Robot Fighter movie.
While the Cincinnati police chief and the city councilwoman who proposed putting up barricades on McMicken Avenue to cut down on prostitution say the plan worked, snarky & snarkier laughed it off.
other plans are to humiliate Johns and make attempts to ruin their family lives.
Since legalization & regulation are off the table, how about replacing the fleshbags with shiny sex robots?
Easy to maintain (probably be a good job opportunity for old pinball machine mechanics), no STDs, no pesky unions, no lost souls…
What could go wrong?
Well, if the robots are still illegal, the fights between the hookerbots battling for turf could get pretty crazy, but hopefully that won't happen. Organizations that have a lot of clout in SW Ohio, like OCA, CCV, CO , NA CP and the Baggers, who love to scream & complain and pass legislation without thinking about the consequences could make that happen, tho. Given CO 's paranoia about technology, they would probably terrify people with tales of whordroids built with guillotine apparatus installed. The NA CP would likely come up with rumors of spreading deadly diseases exclusively to black guys. The folks at CCV would probably want their own.
Maybe they would fly (can you imagine?) in Cleveland, but I don't think SW Ohio is quite ready for these things.
Not everybody's happy about the giant sign erected by the Cincinnati Horseshoe Casino that has made it's place in the local skyline. Apparently big ads for banks on top of Carew Tower are different...
Still, Another alternative might have been using robots to just drag passing autos into the parking lot - sort of like the way guys drag pedestrians off the sidewalks and into strip clubs.
This would have been a more unique solution with some distinct Porkopolis charm that, IMHO, would have drawn tourists from near and far.
With the use of surveillance cameras on the rise, one has to wonder how can people ever sift through all the mind numbing footage of people milling around scratching their noses & texting their moms. The answer is ~ they're not. The current electronic surveillance is just the groundwork being laid by the pink moles of the percolating Robot Army. Obviously, the machines are better suited to digest all the boring info than the quivering flesh bags, but the fleshbags are much more at ease seeing their own install the core infrastructure that will eventually enslave them.
With the knowledge of who is better suited for manual labor as human/animal hybrids, being wetware or just human battery power, the Robot Army can more rapidly execute their morbid plans when they achieve critical mass.

Got Your Flu Shot ? Got the Flu ?
If our only hope of thwarting the takeover of the planet by the robot army is to mutate ourselves into half human - half space-alien super soldiers, is it really worth it?
Sure, you're probably thinking that that flu shot actually was just an influenza prophylactic - you don't feel funny ~ yet. But what if I told you that it sits dormant til the dark overlords actually need your chimeric warrior abilities? That your mutations wouldn't actually begin til triggered by reagents carried in chem-trails…..
While the KYTease protest a libertarian funding of a new Ohio River bridge & promote socialist subsidies, it seems the Nolanists are going to trump the Trotskyites.
But how do we console these embittered travelers?
I suggest giving the fleeced bridge users with some entertainment. yup, holographic robot go go dancers!
With this enticement, people will flock to the new bridge & the incresed use of the bridge will pay off the construction costs in a fraction of the time John, Steve & Ray are predicting. As a bonus, the reduced use of other bridges will cut the amount of maintenance spending that they require. All in all a win win situation for everybody.
